Overall Satisfaction with ServiceNow App Engine
We use ServiceNow App Engine to automate financial business problems. There are many problems, One of the problem is as follows,
* Our AML(Anti money laundering) team needs to do a background check for every new client/vendor we start working with. Team used to get the detail of the client by manually visiting the background check tools such as Moody and D&B. We created a ServiceNow App Engine form so they if there is a need to do a background check then user needs to simply fill a ServiceNow form that will communicate with ServiceNow App Engine to hit the Moody and D&B API to get the results and create a consolidated report for the requestor.

- Smooth interaction with cloud platform such as Azure
- Automation flow debug needs to be improved
- Github integration to manage version control
- We have managed to close the un applied cash item from 56% to 89% in a given five working days period by using ServiceNow App Engine
- By automating and entire money laundering process, we have managed to provide the background check data as quickly as within a day, which was actually taking weeks Same reports when we were doing the things manually.
ServiceNow App Engine lags Almost most of the feature and we compare it with Microsoft SharePoint and power automate, but the reason why we were using ServiceNow App Engine is because it is a part of the automation COE. We have to use only the ServiceNow App Engine to implement the automation.
