Overall Satisfaction with Shift
I manage several email addresses between my 9-to-5 job and various contract and personal business positions. Shift has enabled me to have a one-stop shop for all my emails, outside of a regular browser, and access to vital apps like Slack, Google Suite, and CMS tools
Pros
- Manages multiple email addresses without having several windows open
- Gives me access to apps I use across organizations and tasks
- Keeps me signed into accounts with little to no fuss
Cons
- The UI hasn't changed much in a few years and could use updates
- I'd like to be able to access Shift via Mobile the same way I do via desktop
- Some apps while useful to access are difficult to use in Shift
- Increased productivity
- Keeping my accounts siloed without reducing quick access
The GSuite integrations offer almost the same level of functionality, however the way the UI is set up forces me to have to switch to using an external browser sometimes.
Slack is a great integration but not always as functional as the desktop app

Having all these vital apps across multiple accounts in one place eliminates the need to open dozens of tabs at once. It increases focus on singular tasks.
