Overall Satisfaction with Sigma Computing

We're using Sigma [Computing] as our data visualization tool - so all data passes back from Google Analytics and is then fed into Sigma.

It is being used by the entire organization.

We were unable to visualize data before through Google Analytics - we would just take the raw data and dump into excel. Now with Sigma [Computing] we can easily create tables and show data in a different way.

Pros

  • Easy Filtering
  • Easy worksheet organization
  • Easy to export data into a csv or excel

Cons

  • 150k limit for data exports
  • Having too much data makes worksheets run really slow
  • Data updates are not in real time

As a first time Sigma user it was a little difficult at first when I began to use Sigma but once someone walks you through the process it's pretty simple to do quick data pulls.
I think Sigma [Computing] works alright, but I've used other solutions that I think are a bit more user friendly especially for non data folks who know SQL and can make updates to the worksheets. For example I think Tableau is a great visualization tool and is really easy for non data folks to use.
