Overall the platform is easy to use and hast 90% of desired features, however it is still early stage and some critical features from earlier versions were temporarily removed while the new version was being rolled out.

There is a little barrier to entry in terms of learning where everything is, what everything means, and how to get everything working. Once you get past that barrier everything falls into place.

I use Sigma in my daily finance and accounting functions. I find that Sigma is pretty easy to use. There are certain reports that I used to email out to the Executives on a weekly basis. Since we have onboarded Sigma, the standard reports are auto emailed out on a weekly basis at a prescheduled time.

I regularly hear from business users that they love Sigma. With less than an hour of training, new users are able to start building reports and extracting insights from our data warehouse. As the head of the data team, my goal is to give users across the company tools that they can use to serve themselves whatever data they need. Sigma's user-friendliness is unparalleled among the many BI platforms I have used in my career.

The Business Intelligence tool of my heart

Rating: 10 out of 10

My learning curve with Sigma was very quick but also very steep. When I first looked at it, I was rather confused by the new paradigm but after playing with it for about 15-20 minutes it "clicked" and suddenly I was performing the most powerful non-handwritten-SQL queries of my career, and everything since then - visualisations, etc - have been a breeze. Their support team is also immensely helpful when I have been unable to find things, with chat right there in the app at all times (unlike some companies that like to bury it or hide it behind a crappy kb interface).
