Overall Satisfaction with Signal
More and more we need reliable and secure communication tools as corporate espionage is on the rise. Conversations with clients and staff need to be kept confidential. Signal offers one of the highest levels of encryption end to end, and because it's not using the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) the call is not able to be intercepted, and with encryption, not able to be heard by prying ears or messages seen by prying eyes.
- Encryption end to end
- Audio quality
- Ability to permanently delete messages and history
- Needs to add video
- Add time zone information so you don't call at the wrong time
- Improve the interface, as it's too bland
- I reach people who I need to more quickly.
- It is a free service.
- It provides my clients confidence in keeping things confidential that need to be.
Signal is far and away better and more feature-rich. Skype is no longer the app it used to be before Microsoft acquired it, and WhatsApp, while trying to be much like Signal with claims, has too many features that lead to a sense of insecurity as it's too widely used and used for too many things.
