Overall Satisfaction with Skilljar Customer Education Software

We host all of our customer-facing training options in SkillJar, including self-paced video courses and our live virtual instructor-led classes. It allows our customers to choose the best training experience for them, whether the self-paced options to take on their own time or virtual instructor-led courses for a more personalized experience.
  • Hosts multiple options for customer learning, including live training and self-paced courses
  • Customizable landing page and courses to match our company's branding
  • Variable lesson type options, including video, text, quizzes, and SCORM
  • Navigation can occasionally be difficult in the menu, trying to find certain settings or items can take a lot of clicking around
  • Could use some additional flexible options for live courses, including multi-day classes
  • Captioning for videos currently has to be done manually by SkillJar Support
The interface is occasionally challenging to navigate and not super intuitive. Settings you might expect to be in one menu location might be in a completely different part of the platform, so knowing where to go can occasionally be a challenge. Once you figure out where to go, though, SkillJar has lots of options for customizability. You do have to use Code Snippets for really drilling down in customizing your landing page and courses, and there is no easy way to organize those snippets.
Support is always helpful and quick to respond.

Skilljar gives us all the features we need to build our customer learning platform. It gives us plenty of options for creating our instructor-led courses and self-paced classes for customer training, with all the options you'd need. It provides a wide variety of lesson types for self-paced courses like you might expect, SCORM, video, text-based courses, etc. Also appreciate the analytics that are available.
