Overall Satisfaction with Snagit

We use SnagIt to easily capture and organize the screenshots we take daily.
  • Capture and organize several screenshots and videos of the work we do every day
  • Flexible keyboard shortcuts to get the job done and not override other keyboard shortcuts of other applications
  • Search tool to get the screenshots and videos we take of the relevant information. You can apply tags as well
  • Editing tools to customize the screenshot that later you can share with your colleagues
  • Lack of OCR capabilities
  • Rapid screen capture tool with customized keyboard shortcuts
  • Organize easily within a tagged library of screenshots and video recordings
  • Low resources consumption
Basically, Snagit is a lightweight tool compared to Camtasia. It is a powerful tool to capture ideas and screenshots, however, Camtasia is more powerful in the way it captures video recordings.
I highly recommend to anyone this tool because it allows you to easily and quickly capture relevant information from your screen when you are attending any webinar or meeting.
