We use Snagit mainly to capture product images from the web and resize images for use on our website.
- Snagit allows PC users to capture images (screen grab them) as easily as Mac users (command 4).
- Snagit allows users to resize, reorient, etc. images they capture.
- It's very easy to use Snagit. Freelancers and staff writers alike are able to pick it up quickly.
- Snagit's prompts to save an image before exiting the program are pesky.
- Snagit is not as sophisticated as programs like Photoshop.
- Snagit sends frequent prompts when you're using the free trial.
- Snagit has allowed our writers to capture their own images without going through our creatives team.
- It has given freedom to our freelance writers.
- Snagit has bridged the gap between PC users and Mac users on our team. All are able to screen grab images.
I have not tried other screen grab programs on PC.
