Overall Satisfaction with Snagit
We use Snagit for documentation tool in the organization. It allows all my organization users to quickly capture screenshots and record videos for training materials, process documentation, user guides and guidelines.
Pros
- Few capture options (Region, window, and scrolling ) make it easy to perform screen capture
- Users to record videos for quick troubleshooting guides and documentations
- Able to extract text from images or screenshots.
Cons
- Huge file size when capturing video
- Hard to use scrolling screen capture
- Long learning curve for user new to Snagit
- Transparency on user license cost based on user tiers
- Admin console to manage the license management and user usage
- More cost efficiency for enterprise users
