Overall Satisfaction with Snow License Manager

install agents, configure connectors, done.
A way to see and inventory IT Assets globally. Be able to respond to audits and maintain software compliance. Snow data has also helped with multiple IT projects for upgrading or refreshing hardware.
  • Maintain Inventory Data
  • Global view of IT asset
  • Integration with other systems, like ServiceNow. There are connectors but takes a bit of manipulation to get the data to line up.
  • Software Usage
  • One portal for all data
  • Agility during audits to prove compliance, saves license gap costs
  • Total view of hardware in order to maintain lifecycle for refresh
Plug and Play. Agents deployed, they report in, done.

Full view into the company's assets through both agents and connectors.
Would not change a thing.

Snow License Manager Implementation

It went well, we took out time and verified each step as we went.
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation - Mainly for GDPR concerns and others understanding that it will not impact daily performance of network and devices.
  • Not too many issues were encountered.

Snow License Manager Training

  • In-Person Training
Love it, and I got to go to Sweden.

Configuring Snow License Manager

I think it is configurable. As mentioned before, we went through growing pains along with SNOW. But after doing something once it seems good.
Take your time and read the guides.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
No - we have not done any custom code

Snow License Manager Support

Support for the most part is responsive, but there are times when it takes more time than I would like to resolve. But then, most of the time it is related to growing pains and the fact I do not have a Dev/Test environment to test items and upgrades before going to Production.

Not quite sure I understand the deployment question. We deployed company wide.
It took some growing pains and SNOW fixed performance issues for their product, but never had any issue with it.
Never had issues in this area. Always up and running.

Upgrading Snow License Manager
