SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer Review

Haven't had the need to open any trouble tickets with SolarWinds for NTA yet. We have been able to solve any of our issues that have arisen using the online resources from SolarWinds in their Customer Portal or on the THWACK user community. THWACK has a better following than any other product we currently use with lots of people more than willing to help with your questions.

SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer works very well in tracking usage for individual endpoints on your network either for troubleshooting or for billing purposes. It allows you to deep dive into the traffic and determine if it's legitimate or malicious. Another feature we regular use is allowing our Customer Support Personal to run reports on customer usage which allows them to help people out who are having slow internet issues to determine where the slowdowns are coming from.

The training offered by SolarWinds is some of the best out there. They have several different videos that go into great detail from initial setup to advanced configurations. In addition to the view at your own pace video, they also have live training for customers that focus on a single product and you can ask questions with the folks who develop the software. I have had good success with their live sessions and getting questions answered.

They were very eager for business during the sales process for the various products. Not overbearing used-car-sales types but very helpful.

They do keep in touch after the sale. I am in contact with our sales support personal probability quarterly. Only a few times have I thought to myself that they were reaching out to much but I do try to replay to them each time and they are very polite and professional when I let them know we are good with what we have now.
