Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
NPM is used by the Technology Department to monitor our infrastructure, I need to know in advance if a switch is having hardware or network traffic issues. Our facilities manager also uses it to monitor power outages throughout the district.
- Real-time monitoring of crucial network areas.
- Network mapping of our district which extends over a 20-mile radius.
- Server analysis - the majority of our servers are virtual, this helps us keep up with deploying server resources.
- I would like to see an option to embed switch configuration within the mapping tools.
- Positive. Education has very limited funds, so every purchase we make has to justified.
