Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor

SAM is used to monitor all of our existing production environment.
  • Hardware Monitoring
  • Alerting for down systems
  • Statistical information
  • None really, I just use what it provides.
  • We remain up 98% of the time as SolarWinds' alerting notifies us when a server is down.
  • Cost is still a bit high per module but is beneficial to our company.
Large companies or users who work remotely will find SAM useful for monitoring issues with servers in their production environment. It is much easier to have one application monitoring their systems then to manually monitor their systems one by one.
