Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Virtualization Manager

Its used by the Infrastructure team to monitor the infrastructure gear like computing servers, network devices.
  • Monitoring the computing servers to get the health check and proactive alerts helps a lot in troubleshooting issues.
  • It's a one stop shop tool.
  • It really does magic with CISCO devices because it has very good compatibility with them.
  • It could be better if SolarWinds could do something with the grouping, dependencies and alerting part.
  • It helps me to eliminate 5 tools which we were using before and now SolarWinds gives me everything at the same place.
  • Network and Servers in the same tool.
A better tool in comparison to others and it is very user friendly.
I have more experience with the NPM and it really suits my requirements by providing various functionalities like configuration management, log server, providing very good metrics, and widgets that are cool and very helpful for doing analysis of a particular node.
