Deployment features, system stability and rate of threat protection are the main reasons I would go with Sophos Email Protection. Systems like Barracuda email protection seem nice, but the RBLs that they use could be stronger and perhaps use the "Cloud" information system more to be more up to date with new threats and spammers.
