Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Sophos Email to protect our organization from SPAM, malware, and other malicious email-borne activity. We use it to provide global inbound and outbound email policies, as well as staff self-service email encryption of sensitive data. We also use impersonation protection for our Executive and Finance identities.

Featurewise, stacks up well. Chosen for integration into other Sophos products, and additional data/insights provided across our entire Sophos estate.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well-suited to protect organizations of all sizes from email-borne threats and for regulated organizations where email compliance/standards are important. Not well suited to organizations without knowledgeable IT support in email protocols/security. It would be challenging for them to set up/configure properly. If doing so, I recommend they engage with a partner or Sophos directly for professional services.
