Overall Satisfaction with Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI)
Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is used to monitor our infrastructure using glass tables to provide a quick overview of the health of our environment. Its gives an overview for all of IT services as a one-stop shop, tying together various areas with IT that were in silos previously.
Pros
- Ties together various areas of IT which were previously siloed
- Able to deep dive to assist with root-cause analysis
- KPI alerting to keep on top of our services
Cons
- Recent update removed easy sizing for glass tables
- Assisted in root-cause analysis
- Check performance degradation across various business services
It has been a tremendous help in bringing data into a central location. We are still fairly new in our Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) journey and are looking to improve/add in the years to come.
The health scores have helped give us a quick indication of how our environment is performing. We are working on ways to enhance our KPIs and set up notable events in the future to get the most out of Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI).
Splunk ITSI has allowed us to bring more visibility across our IT infrastructure. Previously the silo approach would not allow different departments a glance and what may be happening in another department. Now with glass tables, we are able to have an overall view on the entire IT infrastructure.
