Overall Satisfaction with Stackby

We use Stackby to manage our business assets and track our creative endeavors. We were able to create databases that include letter segments, track images and biographies we use often, and even spreadsheets of published works.
We also love Stackby for track our podcast, description, social assets, and their effectiveness across the social media channels.

Pros

  • Be a spreadsheet on steroids
  • Track effectiveness of social media campaigns
  • Manage creative assets

Cons

  • Look of the app isn't as fresh as alternatives
  • Some of the add-ons are confusing as to what you do and don't get in a plan
  • Would like some things like automations (limited) available to all plans
  • Pays for itself in about a year's time for us
  • Puts everything in one place (simplicity)
  • Has a small learning curve
Stackby is overall pretty easy to use, especially if you're used to something like Airtable or SmartSuite. Some of the pages seem like near exact clones (though they put their own creative spin on things). I'd prefer a slighty fresher interface (like SmartSuite), but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the better price and great customer service.
Airtable is the "gold standard" when it comes to relational databases. SmartSuite is the "gold standard" when it comes to how nice a relational database can look. Stackby takes a cue from Airtable in how it delivers and interacts with data, and it offers a better cost alternative than SmartSuite.

Do you think Stackby delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Stackby's feature set?

Yes

Did Stackby live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Stackby go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Stackby again?

Yes

Stackby is excellent as a spreadsheet, content management system and for asset management. If you're already looking at Airtable, SmartSuite, or even Google Sheets, Stackby is likely a better alternative price-wise and feature-wise.
If someone is looking for the simplicity of a spreadsheet with NO additional features, this could feel complicated (though it's got a very low learning curve).
