Overall Satisfaction with Sublime Text
Sublime Text is one of the [most] elegant code editors that I have ever came across. It is widely being used within the department as well as the whole organization for various purposes, such as writing code, [...] bash scripts on the servers to automate the tasks, [...] [and] submitting jobs on the server. It works perfectly on the local machines and on the server as well.
- Running Scripts on the Server is very easy because most of the servers support Sublime Text.
- Code completion makes it easy to write productive code.
- There are many themes available to chose from which makes it an ideal code editor.
- Frequent updates makes it free from [...] bugs and [...] [the] latest patches improves [its] performance.
- It is [a] perfect IDE in it's own way. It should contains more extensions and plugins to make it easier for building projects.
- Compatibility with the online servers at the organization.
- Light weight and low memory consuming application
- Easy to use and Easy debugging process.
- It doesn't have any negative impact on the ROI So far.
- Microsoft Visual Studio Code and Notepad++
Sublimes text is comparable with the Microsoft Visual Studio Code and NotePad++. However, VS code is far better than [Sublime Text] in terms of the plugins and extensions available in the market. [...] Sublime consumes [...] less memory, compared to the VS code, [which provides] as many as [the] same features [that] are available in the CS code, like [...] code completion. Automatic code indentation makes it better than notepad++.
