Overall Satisfaction with Submittable
We use Submittable as a fundamental tool for handling the grant process. We use it for all the internal messages and the evaluation process. Also, for handling the underlying documentation, from the submission to the milestone review. It enables efficient focus on the personal task to accomplish and a broader view of the outstanding projects, thanks to efficient filters.
Pros
- Notifications
- Clear view of the overall process, from the submission to the approval
- Efficient filtering for retrieving projects info
Cons
- Notification of necessary action in order to proceed forward
- Setting a deadline for answering
- Setting a reminder when the deadline has passed
- Faster response time
- Have a bird eye view of the current status of the whole project
- Retrieving similar projects through filter allows to enforce fair treatment by comparison
Submittable helped our organization to track all the communications with our grantees and at the same time to organize the single project documentation. The possibility to apply labels enables the PMO to efficiently organize and see coherently different buckets and see who is in charge of the next steps.
- Beyond Intranet Microsoft Dynamics CRM For Nonprofits Implementation Services
Submittable is definitely more agile to adapt to your needs, and it has more parameters to choose from. On the other side, our current size of the grants is limited, so I don't know if Submittable can efficiently scale up.
