Overall Satisfaction with Tableau Server

Tableau Server is used across the whole organization to deliver reports and dashboards.
  • Data presentation
  • Visual data exploration
  • Story telling
  • Deployment and management are quite hard.
  • Required Tableau Desktop for report design (embedded browser version is too weak and incomplete)
  • Getting insights into the hands of users - accessibility of information
  • The speed of reports building and data visualization
  • Data exploration for advanced users
Good: Advanced Data analysis for reports creation. Internal users report consumption.
Bad: Required lots of training to use all the features to create reports.
Bad: Interactive dashboards are hard to build and not flexible enough.
