Overall Satisfaction with TalentLMS

We needed an LMS for asynchronous training options including our safety meetings. I've used it for multiple training opportunities by developing in Adobe Captivate and Rise to creating quizzing/knowledge checks. Having TalentLMS be able to import these SCORM files is important to our process. Our organization is an engineering organization so JIT/asynchronous training available through an LMS is vital for onboarding to new teams.

Cons

  • Discussion and Collaboration
  • The calendar needs better integration with Outlook/Teams.
  • Safety Training and scheduled learning productivity
I've only needed to contact TalentLMS once before, but support was helpful and listened to my feedback.
I was not involved in the initial decision-making, but each of these options offer a comparable solution with some advantages and disadvantages.

Yes

It's great for basic, asynchronous training where you just need to assign someone to a course. It's not the best in scenarios where you have a full course of study with some component of discussion or collaboration with peers. This requires us to fracture content between TalentLMS and other platforms such as Teams/Zoom, etc.
