Overall Satisfaction with TARGIT
TARGIT is one of the reporting tools we use.
- It can be used to create report efficiently
- Has some basic ETL capabilities
- Has some basic analytics capabilities
- needs better functionality for error handling
- needs to improve ETL progress monitoring
- needs a UI for configuration tool, that can be used to configure cube, etl logging, backups etc.
- need integration with sql server agent for easier scheduling
- needs UI to review etl and cube processing logs
- It helped us start out BI solution, but soon we faced some difficulties, especially for logging, performance monitoring and configuration of the tool.
TARGIT seemed to have all the BI tools , but they are not scalable to larger solutions.
