Overall Satisfaction with Teamcenter

We mostly use Teamcenter to track all our property processes and sales. I like how easy it is to track different milestones with this tool and how we can involve our stakeholders in this process to avoid any misunderstandings or errors in the construction, marketing and selling process. We also use it to keep track of all the documents that are needed in our projects, such as permits and contracts that we need to adhere to, and Teamcenter has done a great job at being the central tool when it comes to organizing these files, as well as protecting them thanks to the security measures that it offers, making them accessible to only certain people.

Pros

  • Teamcenter is a great PLM tool that allows collaboration between our teams, it’s possible to create a variety of teams that can all collaborate in one environment and share relevant information, I like that all the data can be integrated into the application so that it’s more organized and structured.
  • When working with Teamcenter, the roles can be properly distributed so it’s easy to see all the workflows and things that need to be done.
  • The interface is very nice and you can work through it if you don’t know some features. I like how well-integrated everything is and how easy it is to use and implement into your daily work routine.
  • One of my favorite aspects of Teamcenter is its reporting tools, they are definitely some of the best tools I have tried, allowing me to integrate data from different places into the platform and analyze it in different ways. Analyzing a variety of key metrics is possible and helps us have better results in our sales.

Cons

  • Sometimes the interface can take too long to fully load and that intervenes with our workflow. When working on it, the updated data can take a bit to appear too. It’s a very inconvenient aspect of it and I hope they improve it in future updates.
  • The customer support is not as responsive as we wish it would be, when we had a lot of questions in the implementing process they took a long time to answer and it slowed us down, I wish they’d put more effort in improving their customer service as they do with the actual software because it can help solve quick questions and bigger issues if they arise.
  • We chose Teamcenter because of its cost-effectiveness, and we can say that it has lived up to our expectations because we have been able to save in other more expensive tools to do what we can do in this one. The ROI has been over 40% because we have integrated it across multiple teams and it has allowed us to reduce the amount of errors in our processes and create a more centralized environment.
Teamcenter handles scalability well and we have been able to slowly integrate our different teams and projects into this platform without any issue or worry about the limitation of tools. The amount of data has also never caused a problem before.

I would recommend Teamcenter if you are constantly working with multiple teams and need one central space to gather all the information that is reunited in these teams, it makes everything so much easier and will help you enhance your abilities. If you need to visualize 2D or 3D lifecycles, Teamcenter is also for you.
