Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We work with finances and highly sensitive information nationwide. We use The Okta Identity Cloud to provide an added layer of security to log into the tech programs we use. This protects our client’s information and helps them feel confident in honoring the privacy of our customers.

Independent Platform

I use Okta every day in my current remote role. I appreciate knowing that when I’m traveling, my computer stolen does not jeopardize our client’s information, and I find the program easy to use and not burdensome to implement.

Customer First Team

I have not personally experienced Okta support, but might have appreciated a quick tutorial on the features accessible to me as an end user.

Reliability

I have used Okta to log in globally without any fuss or hiccups in service. This summer, I worked remotely in Europe and was still able to push sign-in from my phone in airplane mode. Really love that nothing changed and I wasn’t limited access while abroad, and have found that to be the same in different US timezones and outside office hours as well.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think this works well for dual login to any financial, proprietary, or CRM information that requires (or should require) an extra layer of security. We also use this to sign on to Microsoft 365 and other softwares jointly shared across our network. This program may not be appropriate for small businesses that does not require file sharing or logins to Cloud based systems.
