Overall Satisfaction with The Raisers Edge
Raiser's Edge is the database that our hospital foundation uses to track donors, generate mailing lists, record and thank gifts, and record attributes about our donors, such as event participation. We are the only group that uses it at our hospital, and there are six of us in the office at this time. We like how everything is in one place, and we find it easy to extract data from it, which was not the case with our system prior to Raiser's Edge.
- Keeps all my donor information in one spot, making it easy to find what we need right when we want it.
- Easy to extract data in queries and reports.
- Moves management is very possible in this database.
- Export is missing a few fields, and sometimes files are hard to find in the list to be exported.
- Letters currently need to be loaded multiple times - one time for each place they are used.
- Setting up the integration with Outlook was a bigger than should be process.
- We currently raise anywhere between $5MM and $10MM each year, and couldn't do it without a robust database such as this one.
