Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Data Virtualization

We just started using TIBCO Data Virtualization at our organization within the last year. It is a great tool for daily data virtualization needs. It helps us in the data transformation and reporting the new trends for the improvement in the reports so that we can achieve our target goals more efficiently and effectively.

Pros

  • Earlier we were using manual scripts to analyze but with TIBCO Data Virtualization, it is easy and more efficient.
  • TIBCO helps us maintain the trends reports more efficiently.

  • Documentation for the tool should be improved.
  • Cache and data transformation performance can be improved a little better.
  • It helped us widen our vision to make effective decisions for the business.
  • Improved the business outcomes via making agile business processes.
  • Escalated the overall revenue of the organization.
The overall support for TIBCO Data Virtualization is good. This tool is not easy to use as a novice in data virtualization. But the support is excellent and their services are really appreciable. The support team member are very well knowledgeable about the product when we took their help on one of our projects. But there is still room to improve the poor documentation for how to use the tool effectively in the organization.
Its overall cost was one of the factors that encouraged us to buy the tool for our daily data virtualization needs. On top of that, effective support system and trained consulting service were some of the key factors to purchase the tool. Because if we are stuck somewhere we know we have a backup out there who knows how to solve the problem.
