Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Data Virtualization

TIBCO Data Virtualization is being used by one of our clients at the firm. Since it is a consultancy firm different clients prefer different data visualization tools. TIBCO Data Virtualization is helping our clients create data visualizations from the insights generated at the backend which are then used by the business owners to take key decisions.
  • Connectivity to various data source.
  • Real time processing.
  • User/Business friendly.
  • Lightweight.
  • Help section needs to improve.
  • The UI can be more intuitive.
  • Sometimes it takes a lot of time to return a result.
  • Cut down the analysis time for data analysis team.
  • Business owners can save tons of money just by taking right decisions by looking at the right KPI at the right time.
  • It's good to learn a new tool in the market which is a step up from the old visualization tools.
The key decision to select TIBCO over other products was made by the client team in which I did not have any role, however after using the product I can say that the new age of data science calls for a new shift in data visualization tools. The incorporation of AI takes it to the next level.
I only had a chance to contact the support once but the experience was great. They are super friendly and knowledgeable.
I did not make this purchase and it was given to us by our clients. But If one asks me, I would suggest them to go for this product as it is super friendly event to the non-tech people.
It's hard for non tech people to dig deep into the data and get key insights. We solve their problem by converting the data in form of a graph which is easily understood and easy to share with others[.]

TIBCO Data Virtualization can be used best to visualize key KPI for any business which helps them understand the data better and helps them make key decisions. For example. You want the total sales per store in a particular region. TIBCO is not well suited for big joins and complex queries as all processing is done in real time.
