Overall Satisfaction with UberConference

We use UberConference for weekly meetings to keep our worldwide team on task and up to date. Emails and text messages are alright, but some decisions need to be made on face to face discussion. Given the team is all over the place, UberConference is the next best step.

Pros

  • It communicates via website or phone.
  • Records voice sessions.
  • The screen sharing is nice.

Cons

  • The current Android app is basically just a phone redirect, not a communicator.
  • On-screen text chat could use improvement.
  • For basic communications, zero investment made for easy adoption and usage, though with some limitations.
  • No software to download, setup, or buy, so it's super easy to adopt and use.
I've only been in contact with UberConference support a couple of times, but the team is pretty responsive and understanding. To get the best call quality, they helped me make a couple of changes to my own PC and network, and are knowledgeable on their part.

Do you think Highfive (discontinued) delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Highfive (discontinued)'s feature set?

Yes

Did Highfive (discontinued) live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Highfive (discontinued) go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Highfive (discontinued) again?

Yes

For small teams, UberConference seems a good choice. Larger teams in the discussion might not benefit unless UberConference adds something like a hand-raise or buzz-in. It could probably be used for a webinar-type discussion, mostly one-way.
