Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UiPath is the one of the best RPA tools which is suitable for automating the easiest and the most complex manual processes. Best part is, we can integrate other platforms as well within RPA workflow.

Pros and Cons

Integration of .Net code.
Community edition availability with full functionality.
Open source packages availability.

Regular updates in community edition software.
No functionality where we can set up "set next stage" in debug.

Recording feature is one of the reasons for choosing UiPath over Blue Prism for some of the POC's created for few clients use cases. Cost could be another reason. Because the licensing cost is much less than other vendors. Development can be completed by community edition in UiPath and while moving codebase to PROD, then we can use licensed product.

Support Rating

Customer support is good but it can be improved. Most of the queries related to product are resolved within the expected time frame except in a few scenarios where a satisfactory solution was not provided by the vendor. Either it was because of the current version of the tool or due to some other limitation. Which can be improved as overall support.

Well suited for all possible scenarios including Citrix applications because of recorder & scrapping feature. Less appropriate scenario would be ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
