Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been deployed around 5 FTE to do some excel works on daily basis, it will take more time and cost as per customer feedback so we have been choose the Automation Anywhere to automate the tasks now its completing accurately on time, so customer also happy on the outcome.

We use automation anywhere across different processes within our finance operations center - Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Travel, and expenses. The bots have helped in automating basic activities and helped us in reducing the manual effort and high volume routine activities from our global operations hub. The product also provides a command center to monitor the bot's availability/schedule and performance.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Automation Anywhere for Home Health Care Software Automation and Home care & hospice Automation where we verify the data entered by the nurse visit. We are using Automation Anywhere for Data Extraction for the purpose of various machine learning projects such as parsing, chatbot and extracting jobs form various job boards for the purpose of Recruitment process outsourcing project.

  • There is a room for little improvement in virtual environment automation
  • Between actions sometimes we need to add some delays to avoid exception.
  • Only a well trained developer should code, else we will be facing instability in the bot development

  • The workflow designer function is really beneficial since it allows us to visualize graphical representations of business processes quickly.
  • Trigger manager is very important feature which helps us in scheduling the bots during night.
  • OCR is also useful feature for us in recognizing text in images as a part of RPO projects

  • To monitor the triggered bots few human resource has to do support activities
  • Development time in AA is really less due to the reusability of code

Pros

  • Now I easily generate the invoices and quotation generation is an easy task now. Previously it was very time consuming as we have to drag the data from the excel sheets.
  • I will praise its integration with other software that has facilitated us to make amendments in the data across those platforms.
  • Its interface is very easy and user friendly.

Cons

  • I have faced issues like hanging up on the software after we tried to Process the PDF documents. It is not so good in extracting the information from these documents.
  • Its dashboard needs some options in IQ Bot section.

We are using it for Invoice 3-Way Matching. It addresses matching receipts on invoices so we can only focus on issues. Automation Anywhere IQ Bot is currently only being used in the Accounting Department.
