Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
UltiPro is being used across the whole organization. It address issues of allowing employees to have ready access to W2s and pay stubs. We are currently implementing onboarding to reduce paper intensive processes. We use BI to automate several overtime reports to our regional VPs and alerts to new managers when a new hire has been processed. And various departments use it when terminations are made.
Pros
- UltiPro allows the user to customize the system to what they need. For example we are using one section to track whether our employee have CDL or not. This allows us to pull reports accurately and fast.
- UltiPro Time Management (UTM) - time is easily approved and pulled into payroll. We also are able to track PTO for several of our union and non union employees
- Reporting is concise and allows you to pull from several different tables to compile and view data based on various factors, e.g., terminations based on regions in the USA, the pay they all made and do they all fall in the same age group.
Cons
- The onboarding package is sold as the standalone product. It really needs to offer as much functionality as the product offered with the recruiting model.
- Reporting needs to be a little more stable. It seems after every update functionality that once worked no longer works. For example in this past update I lost the ability to copy filters from one report to another.
