UKG Pro is our main timekeeping and payroll solution for our organization. Our needs in a payroll system involve several different types of employment, including temporary and contracted in addition to full and part time. We also have needs to manage payroll across multiple business units that are all part of the same EIN#. UKG allows us to be able to navigate different earning types as well.

First and foremost, we needed a solution that could grow with us. We were likely a bit small when we signed with UKG, but have since doubled our size and it was needed for our growth success. It offers one integrated solution for our US and Canadian based employees. One of the first things it tackled was an electronic onboarding offering - no more printed sheets with physical signatures. Next up was recruiting automation. Then came open enrollment/life event efficiency. This tool is integral to our success.

We use UKG Pro as our HRIS and Payroll system. Over the years we have added Onboarding, Recruitment, Talent Management, Workforce Management, and most recently Document Manager. We are looking to implement UKG Learning and UKG Voice to have a fully integrated system. UKG is our system of record for employee information, payroll processing and information, performance reviews, job competitions, employee file management and more. The system is very configurable to meet individual needs and the Ultimate Community is a wealth of knowledge and resources.

I was part of the original project team that implemented UKG Pro (then UltiPro) for our company in 2017 to 2018. We were also a beta customer for the Benefits Prime (now Benefits Administration) system. We have since added additional modules to our platform, including Performance Management, Compensation Management, LMS (integrated with LinkedIn Learning), and UKG Dimensions (in progress now). We have integrated UKG Pro with our SuccessFactors succession planning system and our iCIMS Recruiting and Onboarding system.
UKG Pro manages all of our associate HR, Payroll and Benefits data seamlessly and integrates our multiple platforms that I support as part of the IT Corporate Applications department. We have found that the system is easy to navigate and use for our business customers, and also provides excellent training and documentation materials for customers.

We use UKG Pro as our HRMS, we use it from Recruiting to Onboarding and throughout the entire employee tenure with the company, and we also pay our employees through UKG Pro. UKG Pro help maintains and manage our employee data, and we build and run reports for employee analytics. It's important to have a centralized cloud solution our employees can enter and update their information with ease.

We use UKG Pro for payroll, tax payments and wage garnishments, HR record-keeping, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, surveys, timekeeping, performance reviews, reporting. We currently have 13 component companies on [the] UKG Pro Platform and three different payroll frequencies. I use UKG Pro to process payroll for our employees and independent contractors. We use UKG Pro for our HR systems to store our employee information. We use WFM to log in employee hours and use Time off system. In 2023 we will begin to use the Performance tool, for our annual reviews. This feature also includes goal, and goal setting to monitor progress. We also UKG to post company bulletins and handbooks, any information that is useful to the employee. We also use reporting system to pull reports needed each day to assist us with Payroll or HR needs.

UKG addresses our recruiting issues by seamlessly taking the candidate from the first point of contact all the way through the employment stage. We have implemented the performance evaluation module which helped our company go from an old excel spreadsheet review to a streamlined review process in UKG. I use it to do my timecard, any pay inquiries including paystubs and to handle administrative tasks like changing bank accounts for direct deposits.

Furthermore, we use the site to carry out mandatory trainings per quarter and keep track on all trainings. This helps the company to be able to handle most HR inquiries and trainings in one consolidated website that is very easy to use.

To my knowledge, we utilize UKG for Time Management, Pay, Time Off/PTO, UKG Pro Learning for Trainings and I believe we will soon start internal goals and reviews through UKG. I utilize UKG Pro as an employee that is not in the HR department so I do not see some of the implementation and back-end reporting. However, I think its ability to be all encompassing is a quality in a software tool that all businesses need.

We use UKG Pro for onboarding, electronic document acknowledgement and tracking, timekeeping, payroll, paid time off tracking and ACA tracking. It has helped us cut down on the paper since everything is electronic and everything is centralized so information is available to anyone in the organization who needs it. The security set up allows us to control who is able to see what in the system. The self service functionality allows us to have the employees and/or managers enter information into the system instead of sending it to payroll to enter for them which helps with accountability and workload for the payroll department. We are able to set up workflow so that we can monitor changes that are made in the system to ensure accuracy.

UKG helped our company go paperless in the hiring and onboarding process. It has also made transferring employees from departments extremely easy. UKG helped us create alerts and triggers to notify the correct teams when actions take place in the system. This helps notify IT when employees are terminated to keep us secure.
