Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance
We are using it to backup several essential systems. It addresses issues of not having a reliable backup solution and to replace a flawed tape backup solution that was not reliable when we needed to restore from it.
- Easy to use
- Easy to deploy
- Good email alerts and notifications once you get them running
- Excellent customer support
- The new interface is missing some things the old one has
- Easier way to know when there is an update
- There are some issues with the VM backups on our system that were a bit of a let down
- Brought RTO time down significantly
- Able to recover from ransomware more easily
- Able to recover from catastrophic failure
Unitrends works, the other one does not for anything more difficult then flat files.
