Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance
We use our Unitrends device to make full domain backups and nightly incrementals. The device is intuitive to configure and while it is easy to get the backup data in, it is also very access to access backed up data down to the file level. Accessing and restoring a lost or corrupted user file takes moments.
- Easy configurable backup schema.
- Easily accessible backup data retrieval.
- Lots of relevant canned reports in the system.
- Proactive software update and patch information available.
- I wish that I could generate a detailed backup status report instead of having to archive the weekly report that the system generates after I perform a full [backup].
- The daily ease of use of the device is its major strength. If not for the daily interaction with the device it could easily fall into the configure it and forget it category.
We selected Unitrends because it was a "from the ground up" build and not a solution that was a bolted on to an existing backup process.
