Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance

Unitrends is our primary backup and disaster recovery solution for our organization. It creates bare metal and full backups of all our hardware and data.
  • Provides bare metal backups that speed up the recovery process in case of catastrophic loss of hardware.
  • Provides various levels of backups for SQL data.
  • Providesspecific backups of Exchange Information Stores
  • Provides Windows Instant Recovery for failover in case of a hardware failure
  • User interface could be simplified to allow for less technical person to set up backup jobs and do data recovery
  • Provide better documentation on backup/archive to third-party cloud solutions
  • Unitrends helped us recover from a ransomware attack within a short period of time.
  • On more than one occassion, Unitrends has helped us recover inadvertantly deleted files.

The Recovery Series Backup Applicance is well suited for smaller companies of 50 or less employees. It provides comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions that you would expect on a enterprise level but at smaller budget affordability.
