Overall Satisfaction with VanillaSoft
VanillaSoft is being used by the University Advancement department in my organization. More specifically, VanillaSoft is deployed in Bucknell University's student calling program, where students call alumni and parents to solicit them for donations to the University. VanillaSoft helps to address the problem of how to ensure organization and efficiency when calling thousands of alumni and parents each fiscal year.
Pros
- From a caller's perspective, the VanillaSoft interface is rather easy to navigate.
- VanillaSoft has many options to allow for detailed record-keeping of calls and individuals being called.
Cons
- VanillaSoft, to my knowledge, does not have a function where you can record a voicemail that is automatically sent to individuals who do not pick up their phones.
- From a manager's perspective, there are many nuances to working with the VanillaSoft software that can be difficult to become accustomed to.
- VanillaSoft has enabled my organization to call individuals in a more timely and uniform manner.
- As a result of increased productivity and more calls being made, VanillaSoft has enabled my organization to raise more money.
