My business survived COVID-19, thanks to VanillaSoft!

Overall Satisfaction with VanillaSoft

I am the only one using VanillaSoft in my company. I am testing it out for my team before they start to use it. It is possible that the entire company will at some point use it.

VanillaSoft is a CRM and Dialer. It has solved the problem my industry is facing due to the Covid-19 situation. I work mainly with seniors which made me unable to leave my house for 2 months. I was able to transition my entire business online.
  • The ability to create rules makes it very easy to prioritize my best leads.
  • The CRM works seamlessly with the dialer to automate calling.
  • The CRM is a great way to manage customer relations and keep track of paperwork that needs completed.
  • I wish VanillaSoft could hotkey my call dispositions. This might be a feature, but I haven't figured it out.
  • VanillaSoft should include the call recording feature free of charge.
  • VanillaSoft does not automatically dial out on Chrome requiring me to use Mozilla Firefox.
  • VanillaSoft has drastically reduced my expenses associated with prospecting (fuel, car maintenance, etc.).
  • I was able to make a profit during the COVID shutdown, in a time where I would have continued to have overhead and no income whatsoever.
  • I made 6 appointments today where generally I would have made 6 appointments in a week.
I only have experience using VanillaSoft and PhoneBurner. I thought PhoneBurner was much more cookie-cutter and less customizable. I could see some people preferring the simplicity of PhoneBurner, but I like VanillaSoft because I want to be as efficient as possible. The price of VanillaSoft is very comparable to competitors.

VanillaSoft is well suited for salespeople looking to get into the cold calling business, or calling leads. I could see it being profitable in a business-to-client scenario or business-to-business scenario. I do believe that there are salespeople who are naturally good in person and those that are naturally good on the phone, and VanillaSoft might not be for the former.
