Overall Satisfaction with Varicent
Varicent is used as our commissions calculation application in order to calculate sales commissions for our sales force, ranging from monthly payroll to quarterly payroll, as well as interim and annual bonus calculations. Our previous system was closed and after review of other applications, Varicent was chosen as the vendor.

- From my experience, severe negative impact to our business in that to manually calculate commissions for 12 months
- In my opinion, severe negative impact to employee morale and faith in accurate commissions
- I feel there has been a severe negative financial impact as we were repeatedly billed for hours for Varicent to fix their own errors in design and implementation, nearly tripling the proposed cost of the project.
I cannot. There has not been once instance in the 18 months it took to implement our model.
Varicent was selected 1) because we had an incompetent independent contractor managing the process; 2) Varicent misrepresented both scale & cost as well as support.
