Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for AWS

Veeam was used as a secondary backup instance for database services. It was used in some instances for experimentation and then later was used in at least 10 instances. The microservices and data pipelines are used to do a daily backup. The backup was rarely used as it was cold storage.

The availability of Veeam service is really good. It is a disaster management service and hence needs to have a really great backup. The service is good, worked well in all environments, and also works 24/7. It is a customizable solution that can do a lo. It can also be used in a lot of languages.
Both services are good and can be used one over the other. However, it was a collective decision to use one over the other. the services needed more and more time management and less. Almost all the parameters are the same and equivalent when it comes to considering one over the other service.

Veeam is really great for backup and disaster management. There are cold storage details that are really good, The extendable API can be better. The UI needs to be extensible and scalable. At this moment there is a lot of room for improvement. The service is very costly and in some instances can be better.
