Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam to backup all of our VM's. We are about to implement cloud based Disaster Recovery also using Veeam.
- Backup of virtual machines from VMware.
- Ability to spin up VM's directly from Veeam.
- Offsite duplication for Disaster Recovery.
- Backup to tape functionality could be improved.
- Backup to tape is very slow.
- There is no support for backup of physical servers.
- Peace of Mind. We know we are only a matter of minutes from full recovery.
- Backup redundancy with cloud-based backup.
- Comprehensive protection.
We really have not used any other solution than Veeam. We were using Backup Exec before and it doesn't handle backup of virtual machines.
