Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

We use it to backup our primary virtual environment. We also replicate the backups offsite.

Pros

  • Fast backups that are pretty much set and forget.
  • Ability to recover individual files.
  • Built-in replication.

Cons

  • Server only runs on Windows.
  • Luckily we haven't had any major failures, but if we did, Veeam would save us quite a bit of time and resources.
We use the built-in replication functionality to replicate our backups offsite for additional redundancy.
Price and ease of use.
Well suited for its ability to quickly spin up a backup solution and ease of use.
