Pros
- Faster and flexible recovery option
- secure backup repository features is a best features
- Sure backup faetures that ensures automatic testing.
Cons
- Data backup sometimes take high CPU usage with large VM hat could be more adpative.
- A centralised auto update function could help us to make endpoint easier
- backup job scheduling option could be the best initiative in improvement.
- Virtualized workloads
- Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
- Cloud-hosted VMs within AWS or Azure
- NAS filers
- NAS filers
- Enterprise UNIX servers running Solaris & IBM AIX
- Enterprise applications such as Oracle or SAP HANA
- Automating test restores to validate recoverability
- “Instant” recovery or portability between platforms (physical > virtual > cloud-hosted)
- Accessing data for data mining or re-use of backup copies via API
- Failover or recovery scripts/plans for orchestrated recovery
- Automating test restores to validate recoverability
We have three in house application that is protected by Veeam two cloud platforms.around 50 workloads (including virtual machines, physical servers) are protected by Veeam Data Platform.
The main reason for this growth is that Veeam proved to be highly reliable and scalable, so we gradually expanded its coverage to include more systems

- Veeam delivered possitive ROI by providing automatic data backup and reducing downtime
- It reduces the manual data backup workload and ultimately reduces man power for it
- Minor drawback is its initial licensing cost and storage cost
Our previous solution provides us a slow data back up with frequent failures and more recovery times this drawback triggered us to move to Veeam solution.
with Veeam, backups have become faster, more consistent, and easier to manage, with significantly improved recovery speed and data reliability compared to our earlier experience.

Yes, our organization has benefited from Veeam’s cloud faetures. We use it to protect cloud workloads, store backups in cloud repositories, and maintain offsite disaster recovery readiness.
This has improved data availability, simplified offsite management, and ensured business continuity in case of site-level failures.

Yes,our organisation has very much benefitted from Veeam’s NAS and File-share backup capabilities.
It allows us to secure unstructured data across file servers and shared drives and simplified our restores of individual files, and ensure compliance and data availability without impacting our daily operations.

If i compare Veeam as a solution compared to Azure Backup, Veeam Data Platform offers broader workload coverage, including virtual, physical, and multi-cloud environments, along with faster recovery options and advanced features like Instant VM Recovery and SureBackup.
