Overall Satisfaction with Vena

VENA is primarily used by FP&A. it serves multi purposes: budget, actual, forecast, accounting close and consolidation, HR planning. The department involved include FP&A, Finance, HR and data input from our Business Lines Heads and deputies.

Pros

Cons

  • HR payroll: limitation when the model includes social charges calculation in multi-locations
  • Script language not user friendly
  • Saved 2 working days on the FP&A process (forecast)
  • Reduce time production of budget by a mere 2 weeks
  • Gained tremendous accuracy in our reporting (one version of the truth)
  • Gained additional control on our financial close process (integrity and standardization)
Very responsive support. The consulting team is top notch and very supportive. They invited us to be part of a community of peers for best practice exchanges.
Overall, the accuracy and timeliness of data. The standardization of workflows has enabled us to systematize data collection and accountability, with a status tracker for progress and reminders. This in turn, enable the FP&A team to produce relevant outputs for management and decision takers in short timeframe
