Overall Satisfaction with Viewpoint Spectrum
Viewpoint Spectrum is our primary ERP system for accounting and job costing.
- The software has a great user interface and new users find the software easy to learn.
- Importing data is relatively straightforward with the use of data exchange.
- There are a variety of third-party applications that integrate well with the software.
- The user interface for job cost projections seems to not have been updated for decades and is very difficult to use.
- There is no way to automatically allocate overhead cost to jobs based on hours charged or percentage of cost.
- Most users purchase third-party financial reporting software.
- The software's ease of use has improved efficiency in the accounting department.
- There is an increased visibility of job cost information that was not present before.
- The monthly forecast process has become more efficient (even though a third-party had to be engaged to create an Excel interface).
We have not yet implemented Trimble Construction One.
