Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for payroll, management, accounting, writing checks, logging accidents and test results and inventory. It keeps everything in line, making spreadsheets and tracking things so easy. I personally use it to enter invoices and receipts, managing what is bought and how much and for writing checks to pay mentioned invoices.

Usability

Viewpoint Spectrum is a very user friendly software. I can not imagine anyone who spends a few moments to days being trained not knowing how toi use it. It is very nice and runs smoothly in order for the most part. It is a great software for what we sue it for and We pretty much use very side of it with no complainers.

Connected Construction Management

Trimble Contruction One has built an amazing complete connected platform for road construction management. We are able to upload a lot of information from our Heavy Job users into the software and avoid having to key in a lot of information which saves us both time and money and its simple all generations of workers have mastered it with a little training.

Alternatives Considered

SAP Business ByDesign

Not sure how comparable these software are. Both are great and were used for different reasons for different companies and circumstances. I use Viewpoint Spectrum for the Roadway Contruction industry and SAP for the chemical manufacturing world. There are similarities but a lot of differences. Viewpoint Spectrum is a tad easier to maneuver and collect data from if I had to pin point a difference

In the construction industry (Road construction) it is a great tool, it fits all of our needs from what I can see and every year it seems there is an improvement when you didn't know it needed it. Gets better all the time, they think of things we need before we do. The community is amazing and fun to work with
