Overall Satisfaction with Viewpoint Vista

Vista is currently being used by our Accounting, Admin, and Division team leaders. Division leaders use the Job Cost and PM modules for project accounting. The implementation of Keystyles has allowed us to provide all of our employees access to information inside Vista such as earnings, W2, personal information changes, timecard entry.

  • Payroll.
  • Project Management.
  • Web-based platform.
  • Mobile applications.
  • Document management.
  • Job costing helps us maintain margins and address jobs where expected margins are not being met.
  • Vista allows us to stay on top of Aged Receivables.
  • Vista allows us to analyze cost and revenue on every piece of equipment.
The integration of Vista was not easy, considering we migrated from Quickbooks.
Viewpoint Vista allowed us to track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions that led to increased efficiency, productivity, and profitability
Vista has a better job cost center than Sage, especially when using several fixed rate scenarios. Procore's documentation, collaboration, and the mobile app are better than anything Vista has to offer, but Procore lacks the accounting side of the equation.

Vista is a very robust accounting package and job cost modules. Definitely well suited for large contractors, specifically heaving highway customers. Vista is less appropriate for smaller companies and subcontractors.

Using Viewpoint Vista

1 - Requires a deep knowledge of the product. Most issues fixes are not intuitive and require extensive research.
