Overall Satisfaction with Vizlib
We attempted to implement Vizlib integrated with our QlikSense instantiation, but it failed. Vizlib promised a capability to write back to source data from our QlikSense tools, but Vizlib was not able to deliver, support was extremely slow and frustrating, and ultimately we were forced to cancel the contract. We asked for a 50% refund, but Vizlib declined. I could not recommend Vizlib based on my experience with them.
Pros
- Their sales demo was excellent and compelling
- Their concept of write back to source data from within Qlik is very powerful and needed.
Cons
- Vizlib promised a writeback capability that it just was not able to deliver. We bought additional developer licenses for QlikSense that were not planned in the initial Vizlib discussions, but even with they were not able to implement a writeback capability.
- I feel Support was horrible... very slow, and with inadequate expertise.
- We have had a negative experience with Vizlib... we paid for a capability that wasn't delivered, and that cost us time that could have been better spend on other priorities. Negative ROI.
I selected Vizlib based on several positive Qlik community forum comments. It would seem that they had a different use case than we did.
