VMTurbo: How it saved me $30K
Overall Satisfaction with VMTurbo Operations Manager
We use it in the IT Department to manage our VM Farm. It is used to automate certain processes as well as project growth and determine if there is a need for more compute.
Pros
- Automation
- Fine tuning your VM Farm
- Reporting
Cons
- Reporting is very nice, but a little more fine tuning on the reports would be nice.
- Saved me $30K within the first month. Didn't have to buy a new Cisco UCS Blade.
We looked a vCops and it didn't have all the features we were looking for and was almost twice as expensive.
Using VMTurbo Operations Manager

3 - We are all System Administrators who support 400+ VM Servers

- Reliability

- Looking to deploy this to our DR site
Evaluating VMTurbo Operations Manager and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Product Reputation
We decided on VMTurbo because of a few things: features, usability, and price. VMTurbo gives us more bang for the buck over some other well known VM products.
I wouldn't change a thing, except I wouldn't have waited a full month to purchase the product.
