Overall Satisfaction with Vonage Business Communications

I used Vonage Business Communications for over 5 years as a solution to replacing an aged PBX system. It turned out to be a great solution for us, bringing the church into the 21st century with a high tech solution using existing architecture, easy expandability, advanced tools like auditing and visual voicemail, and a lot more.

When I used to use 8 x 8, it started off as a good price, but the product was not all that great, and they lock you in on a tough contract that automatically changes price and no longer becomes economically viable. That is not the case with Vonage Business Communications, you can start off as months to months or under contract. You can, buy or lease your equipment. And everybody is so much easier and straightforward to work with as opposed to 8 x 8. 8 x 8 always felt like they were trying to pull something over on me.

Replacing old systems is a great use for Vonage Business Communications. It is lower cost than repairing old PBX, has great features and extensibility when you first set it up. Contracts can be a bit of a pain but not an awful thing. Overall it is a really good product that compared to other similar companies I can’t complain.
